Young Democrats are ready to lead in Arkansas

This election season has seen an incredible number of neophyte politicians and record numbers of women seeking elected office.  The average age for a Democrat on the ballot in Arkansas is significantly lower this time then in elections past, according to Jay Barth in the Arkansas Times

In this installment of Straight Talk I will be speaking with two young Democrats working to make a positive change in the state.

The President of the Young Democrats of Arkansas is a radio host from Walnut Ridge who sees great things ahead for the Democratic party of Arkansas and the coming blue wave this November.

Tara Ward

Tara is a young mother studying political science at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA)  and as a resident of Conway she recognized that a whole segment of the community was unrepresented on the city council and she has decided to step up and run to fill that void.

I believe that everyone is going to enjoy hearing from these two who truly represent the future for the Democratic Party in Arkansas.
